Hi my name is Dan, I am the owner and operator of DMS Detailing.

I have been passionate about cars my whole life, starting from about five years of age. I used to go to the race track to watch my Dad race. I was always fascinated about how cars worked and what made it possible to make them go fast. It was from this that I started Kart Racing when I was eight years old. I always enjoyed working with cars, and from the moment I received my first car at 17, I was completely obsessed with it looking good! This was the point when I realised perhaps I could do this for a living.

After many hours of research, and even more hours of practice, I decided to take the plunge and register for an ABN and name my hypothetical business 'DMS Detailing', at only 18 years of age. At this point I had started my Bachelor of Business (Management) degree at UWS, and all my spare time was taken up by building my brand, skills and knowledge.

Over the past four years, DMS Detailing has slowly but solidly grown into the successful business I have today. I have many amazing and loyal clients who I honestly can say I enjoy working for, and many more newcomers every day which keeps my job incredibly interesting.

It hasn't necessarily been easy, but I have learned that with hard work, passion and dedication you truly can work in a profession that you love, and do it on your own terms.

In July 2009 I was proud to receive the Hills Shire Times Business Achiever Award in the category of Motoring Services. It was my first time nominated, and to win was such a sense of achievement.

I sincerely hope that DMS Detailing will continue to grow in the future, as I can truly say that I wake up every morning looking forward to going to work and continuing to do what I love.
